How are dashboards filtered vs exports and the Stream?
How are dashboards filtered vs exports and the Stream?

Within your Stella Connect account there are many places to gather data on the performance of you and your team. Included in this data-gathering are date filters that help you narrow down in the timeframe you're looking for.

You may notice that something the number of responses on your Company Trends page does not match the number of responses in your Export containing only requests, for example. Below is a breakdown of the different ways these filters interact with your data.

Dashboards: filter by a survey's created_at date/time, meaning the date and time the survey was created and sent to the customer

Exports:

  • If exporting only requests with responses, we will use the responded_at date/time. Meaning the date and time at which the survey was initially responded to by the customer

  • If exporting All Requests, we will use the created_at date/time, meaning the date and time the survey was created and sent to the customer.

Stream:

  • The date/time listed on each survey response card will show the responded_at date/time.

  • When you filter the stream to a date range, it will calculate using the created_at date/time
