Metric Configuration

Use the Metric Configuration screen to select the specific metrics that will be visible for all users of Stella Connect for each specific feature or product. You can choose from our default metrics or any custom question metrics if you have them.

Dashboard Metrics

Dashboard metrics are those used by customers when providing feedback about your company, and appear in Stella Connect reports. Select the metrics to be used in the Stream, Trends, and Leaderboard reports.

Enabling Metrics - To enable custom Dashboard Metrics for your Stream, go to Settings > Metric Configuration, and adjust the key metrics. If changes are not reflected in the Stream, reach out to Support (Help Menu > Contact Us) to have them enabled.

Key Metric Set

Key metrics are those used to measure the performance of your Team Members in 1:1s and in the Performance Management report.

Important Metrics

The following list describes important metrics used in Stella Connect:

  • Star Rating — The average star rating from customer surveys

  • Percent Five Star — The percentage of survey responses that are 5 stars specifically

  • Percent Positive — The percentage of survey responses with a positive review (either 4 or 5 stars)

  • Percent Negative — The percentage of survey responses with negative review (either 1, 2, or 3 stars)

  • Response Rate — The percentage of surveys that received responses

  • Average Scalar — If you are using a custom scalar question in a survey, this metric tracks the average score for that question.
