With Desktop Notifications you can be alerted when specific types of customer feedback come in, even if you’re not actively working within Stella Connect at the time. Desktop Notifications are most frequently used to highlight when individual team members receive a piece of negative feedback.
Setting up Desktop Notifications couldn’t be easier! See directions below:
1. Click the Bell Icon on the top left of your Stream. Right at the top of the filter panel. Click "Set Up Notifications"
2. Select the filters within your stream that you want to receive alerts for and then click "Next”. In the example below, you would receive notifications for all one, two or three star responses that come in on your phone channel.
3. Click "Next" again and a desktop pop-up will appear confirming that you allow desktop notifications.
4. Once you click "allow" from the desktop notifications popup, click "continue" and you're all set!
Desktop Notifications will appear as long as you have Stella Connect open in a browser tab (even if the tab is minimized at the time). Clicking through on a Notification will instantly take you through to the specific piece of customer feedback.
Limited support in Internet Explorer
Internet Explorer unfortunately does not fully support desktop notifications. You can still enable the feature, but when new responses come in, the Stella Connect stream will return to the top of your screen and show you an alert that you have new feedback.
If you are able to use a different browser, that will allow you to take full advantage of the Desktop Notifications.
